We have so much to share, yet many of our residents don’t get to see some of our most magnificent attractions. Our children often experience international sights and cultures before they see or understand their own.

It was from this recognition, that Ocean Dynamics Educational Tours was developed. We want our children to have the opportunity to learn about the wonders of our great country and collect moments, not things.

Australia is a country of such amazing diversity. We have incredible terrain, oceans, rivers, rainforests and ecosystems. Our culture is a blend of the traditional owners and so many other nations, along with a few very special additions, such as the Aussie barbeque and damper!

Our Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef is one of the natural seven wonders of the world. It is larger than the Great Wall of China and the only living thing on earth visible from space. It contains the world’s largest collection of coral reefs, with over 1500 species of fish, 400 types of coral, and 4,000 kinds of mollusc. It also holds great scientific interest as the habitat of species such as the dugong (‘sea cow’) and the large green turtle, which are threatened with extinction. It has a beauty and complexity that cannot be fully explored in any classroom or over Google.

Ocean Dynamics provides exceptional learning experiences. We have created packages to ensure the most memorable school camps possible, which go beyond educational tours to incorporate the amazing history of the Whitsundays, the local indigenous people, ReefHQ, marine life, our ecosystems, rainforest, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and so much more. We provide the opportunity for students to learn about boats, engineering, cooking, to bushwalk, sail, dive and safely navigate the Queensland waters.
